Thought Starmer still looks a bit lost and still refuses to provide policy details.
Highlights-
Sunak to Starmer – “just saying you are going to do something does not make it happen” true where are the policies?
Starmer to Sunak - “if you went about the country more you would understand people”- yip not seen Sunak in the Dale (Rochdale that is not Emmer).
Audience – question “are you two the best we have”. I sort of agree with the sentiment, both bland and wooden, both chasing what are fundamentally the same polices.
Takeaway –
Starmer has still not delivered the why you should vote for Labour mike drop; Sunak only has the economy and current momentum on policies.
Worries me that Starmer, as an ex high level barrister, is not able to project a case for Labour in these debates there should be no contest. With his experience Starmer should be blowing Sunak out of the water, why is he not?
